Tour Montparnasse
The Montparnasse Tower, 210 meters high, is the highest skyscraper in central Paris but also one of the highest in Europe. Each year around 750,000 visitors from every part of the world come to the 56th floor and roof of the tower, to admire the remarkable view of Paris. The Montparnasse Tower is also a place for many visitors to take a walk, eat and do shopping.
Inaugurated in 1973 thanks to the willingness of Georges Pompidou to provide the city of paris with modern facilities. The Montparnasse Tower, criticized for a long time, has now become a reference point for many Parisians. Approximately 5,000 employees, spread in 52 floors for a total area of 90 000m ²; work inside the offices which makes the tower the first business building in the city of Paris. The Montparnasse Tower is part of a complex that includes a shopping center included the Galeries Lafayette and a train station. A panoramic restaurant and bar located on the 56th floor provides, while enjoying a drink or a meal, enjoy the best view of Paris at any time thanks to its central location.
