Musée de la contrefaçon
The Museum of counterfeiting was established in 1951 at the initiative of the Union of Manufacturers for the International Protection of Industrial Property, and Art. For this association, the creation of this museum is an opportunity to raise awareness in the fight against counterfeiting. The Museum of counterfeiting plunges visitors into the world of counterfeiters.
With a collection of over 350 objects, visitors will be led to contemplate imitations of varying quality, and must guess which product is a true and which product is a fake. Visitors will discover the first fake dating from the Gallo-Roman. Advice on how to buy are also given in order not to fall into the trap of counterfeiters.
