Musée Grévin
Musée Grévin is a private waxwork museum, situated in Paris, which is the equivalent of the Madame Tussauds wax museum, implanted in the major worldwide cities. The museum has wax models of famous French and foreign celebrities. High in Parisian entertainment and it’s collection of 300 wax figures, this museum has had great success since its opening in 1882.
Musee Grevin has an exceptional interior design just as its dome or the Hall of Columns in a baroque style, exhibiting pieces from its private wax work collection. It is listed as a historical monument due to its interior design and theatre. The private collection of waxworks is regularly expanded with the arrival of new, famous wax works. The museum has its own workshop in which sculptors work meticulously on every detail of the characters, using photos and video.
Due to this, wax works of Nicolas Sarkozy, Angela Merkel and Tony Parker have all appeared over recent years.
