Auvergne is a French region located in the middle of France; it is the land of big open spaces and volcanoes. The main city is Clermont-Ferrand.

Auvergne offers various contrasts with the banks of the Allier, Cantal peaks, woodlands Haute-Loire and reliefs of Puy-de-Dome. Tierra del Fuego with its volcanoes, but also a land of water with its eleven spas found in the region's cities Volvic, St. Yorre Châtel Guyon Royat. Numerous diverse areas also hide as Cantal, Vichy, the Drill, the chain of domes or Mzenc. The fauna and flora are remarkable. Two natural parks were created to protect and enhance biodiversity.

The local specialties in Auvergne are the ‘Potée Auvergnate’, wines, cheeses such as Cantal and Bleu d’Auvergne.
