Musée Bargoin
The collections of the Bargoin museum specialises in different fields such as painting, sculpture, archaeology and ethnography. Archaeology plays a very important part in the museum and was stimulated by spectacular discoveries now displayed in the museum.
In the 20th century, these archaeological collections were enriched thanks to the locales excavations of which the most important is the one of the « Source des Roches » in Chamalières. In addition, gold coins dating from Vercingétorix are now part of the collections since 1997.
