Maison de Gergovie
Close for renovation. Opening 2019
Built near a monument erected in 1900 in honor of Vercingetorix, the House Gergovie is a modern building. Inside, we find two structures: the site museum and Tourist Gergovie Val d'Allier.
The site museum presents the life of a Gallic city at the dawn of the Roman conquest. It discusses the volcanic plateau which Gergovie gazebo remarkable natural and archaeological evidence of human occupation of the site from the Neolithic to the Gallic period. The film "Gergovie, History of a battle" (12 minutes), can follow the adventures of the confrontation between 52 BC Caesar and Vercingetorix.

March opening every weekend from 14 am to 18 pm and 1 April (Easter Monday) and April 6 and 7.
From 13 April to 30 April, daily from 14 am to 18h
In May and June: open daily from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 14 pm to 18 pm
In July and August: open every day from 10 am to 19 pm without interruption.
