Musée départemental de la céramique
Lezoux was the main place for the production of roman earthenware during Antiquity. Tableware especially increased the popularity of Lezoux around the world, as a result, tableware from Lezoux has been massively exported around Europe. Today, the museum of Lezoux presents rich Gallo-roman collections of earthenware and table ware. Archaeology is presented on three levels : Permanent exhibition : learn about ceramic and the life of the Gallo-Roman potters. Temporary exhibition gallery : Archaeology, ceramic, history and earth. Workshop : Contemporary créations and demonstrations.
