Château d'Aulteribe
The Castle of Aulteribe is located in Auvergne, on the northern tip of the mountains of Livardois. Built in the late of Middle Ages in the XIX century, the building has a medieval architecture restored in the Romantic era, and an exceptional collection of furniture and works of art, pomp of the show to privacy rooms.
During 1954, the Marquis Henri de Pierre bequeath to the National Found for Monuments and Sites the Castle of Aulteribe and its extensive collection : furniture, Flemish tapestries and Aubusson, paintings of the XVII and XIX centuries and porcelain China. Interior design, exceptional quality, will delight visitors. The furnishings also earned him the reputation of being the best furnished castle in France.
