Tourism Paris 9eme
The 9th district of Paris is located on the right bank of the Seine. This is one of the districts of Paris less extensive (217.5 hectares). It also bears the name of "district of the Opera".
The cultural offer is very developed. One finds in particular, Grevin museum, famous for its waxworks, but the Opera Garnier building classified as historical monuments, or two famous theaters: the Olympia and the Casino de Paris. Les Folies Bergère also took place in this district.
Tourists love to window shop in the heart of Galeries Lafayette. Catholicism, Judaism, through Orthodoxy and Protestantism, the 9th is also a place of worship.
