The nail of the cross : The city arms comprise a nail.

The legend says that it is a nail of the Christ cross, given by king Robert le Pieux to the abbey in 1019.

This relic disappeared during calvinist plunderings of the monastery in 1567 is now lost.

Jeanne d' Arc sword : Jeanne d' Arc stayed twice in Lagny-sur-Marne in September 1429 and in spring 1430.
During her second stay, Jeanne made a miracle that the catholic clergy argued with for its canonization. She made live a child dead for 3 days, to christen him.

the-fountain-and-the-five-pinions

The Saint-Fursy fountain points out the town centre for a long time.
Texts from the 13rd century mention it.
The spring would be appeared due to a miracle of Saint-Fursy.
The building of the " Five Pignons" (12nd and 16th century) is the old market which sheltered formerly the merchants of the Ypres for the Champagne's fairs.
