Mamac

Designed by architects Yves Bayard and Henri Vidal, the Mamac has the form of a tetrapod arc straddling the course of Spangle. Open since June 21, 1990, 9 showrooms are spread over 3 levels and about 4,000 sqm.

Nearly 1,200 works are in the museum. They show the important role played by the city of Nice in the development of new movements of the 60s and 70s to today. The Mamac also hosts many temporary exhibitions.

In 2012, the museum welcomed 135,714 visitors.
