Musée des Explorations du monde

The "Musée des Explorations du Monde", formerly the "Musée de la Castre", is a museum in Cannes housed in the remains of the medieval castle of the monks of Lérins in Le Suquet.

Labelled "Musée de France", it presents collections belonging to the city of Cannes: primitive arts from Himalaya-Tibet, the Arctic, pre-Columbian America, Oceania, Mediterranean antiquities, musical instruments from the world of Asia, Africa, Oceania, America, landscape painting from the 19th century with the small masters of Provence.
