The Town Hall
The town hall of Coutances is established inside the Cussy town house since the 19th century. Its facade facing the cussy court yard is made of Cambernon stones and the facade facing the Leclerc square was refurbished in the 19th century.

The Saint-Nicolas church
The Saint-Nicolas church in Coutances was badly damaged in 1944 and has been the subject of extensive refurbishment ending in 1996. Saint-Nicolas of Coutances is, together with the Granville and Villedieu-les-Poëles churches a fine display of gothic constructions.

The former 'Hotel-Dieu'
The former Hotel-Dieu in Coutances was founded in 1209 by the bishop Hugues de Morville, the buildings became more important along the years and several of them were rebuilt or enhanced several times. Today, the most remarkable old buildings date from medieval time and the 17th century.

Quesnel-Morinière street
The Quesnel-Moriniere street is an aristocratic district of Coutances that was established from the 16th century where the old city walls was.
