Château de Pirou
The Chateau de Pirou was built in the 12th century and is situated on an island in a artificial lake. Back in the days, it was located on the shore and watched over the East coast of the Channel. It became a farm in the 18th century then fell into decay during the 19th and early 20th centuries until it was listed as a French historical monument in 1968. It was then restored. Today, you can discover the different elements of the castle such as the bakery, the pressing shed, the round path...

Opening time: everyday, 10am to 12am and 2pm to 6.30pm (5pm from 1st Oct to 31st March)
