Jardin des Plantes de Coutances
The botanical garden of Coutances was created between 1852 and 1855 thanks to the donation of Mr. Quesnel de la Molinière.
The botanical garden of Coutances is one of the oldest garden in the region and offers an alliance of French symmetry, Italian terraces and English groves. The botanical garden has a collection of rare trees, nice flower clumps and a maze, which all guarantee you a great and relaxing walk.
The garden of Coutances was listed in 1992 as a French historical monument.
