The stud farm in Saint-Lô is a fine example of the 19th century architecture, and has 60 studs from 7 different races. The farm specializes on racing horses. Since the 19th century, the farm is part of the history and the economy of the region.

The large buildings of the Boisjugan farm were built between the 17th and the 19th century and they now house the 'Bocage Normand' Museum since 1989.
