Tourism Beaucaire
Beaucaire is a medieval town in the Gard department. Its a former stronghold of the Counts of Toulouse, which dates back to antiquity. This ancient Roman city dating from the seventh century BC is the port of Nimes on the Rhone.
For several centuries, stood in this city of Madeleine Fair, an event which brought him considerable international reputation. During this period, the seventeenth to the nineteenth century as the most beautiful buildings were built as the town hall for example, or some of the mansions.
Classified as "city of art and history" since late 2001, the town of Beaucaire offers visitors a large number of monuments, tourist visits and crafts.
Throughout the year, you can attend performances of music, theater, in the wonderful architectural heritage of the city. This makes it a festive and vibrant, where many opportunities are given to visitors to attend events in bullfighting.
