Collection Lambert
Inaugurated in 2000, the Lambert Collection brings together works of art acquired by the gallery owner and collector Yvon Lambert. Representative of his personal tastes, the collection allows the discovery of major works of minimal art, land art and conceptual art.
The collection is very popular among lovers of contemporary art because it brings to each artist a sizeable corpus of his work (many paintings and installations by Cy Twombly, Robert Ryman and a large collection of sculpture by Sol LeWitt).
Yvon Lambert is also interested in photography and video performance (Nan Goldin, Andres Serrano). Numerous exhibitions are held frequently in relation to the current artistic or topics discussed during the Avignon Festival. Guided tours can be organised throughout the year.
