Collégiale Notre-Dame-des-Anges

Classified as "Historic Monument" for more than a century, the Notre-Dame-des-Anges collegiate church is a very beautiful monument of Romanic style. Built by the Cavaillon's bishop at the beginning of the 13th century, the collegiate church is dedicated to the Virgin's Assumption.

However, the churchhas undergone numerous modifications : We imagine that the monument was a more consequent scale. It is considered as its baroque decoration of the 17th century which reminds that of the Italian churches. This luxuriant decoration is qualified by the specialists as the most beautiful baroque ensemble in the south of France.
