Musée Départemental Arles Antique
In 1968, the curator of the Museum of Arles, Jean-Maurice Rouquette, prepare the draft of a new museum dedicated to bring together all the archaeological collections Arles in one place. With his concept of "city museum" Henri Ciriani aims to create a space where visitors are invited to wander freely in the museum as a city.
The loop course is built around a central courtyard and let visitors the freedom to travel and see different themes at will.
