Écomusée d'Alsace

The Alsace Ecomuseum is a reconstitution of a real Alsatian village, with 74 construction of which houses, farm, school, chapel which were dismantled and rebuilt here. It will present various events throughout the year. The houses are accessible to visitors where costumed people present traditional crafts such as blacksmith, carpenters, baker and so on..

This large open air museum is located near the commune of Ungersheim and often organizes folk events which are copied from the liturgical calendar. You can also have lunch or a drink at the restaurant or the bar. The purpose of this place is not only to show traditional housing but also to share the local héritage during summer classes and educational discovery days out.
