Chambly

Come to discover the known monuments of Chambly there:

• Archeological site of “the Pit to the Monks”, Groups of Villeneuve-Saint-Germain, old Neolithic era.
• Romance Saint-Aubin vault (IMH).
• Saint-Robert vault.
• Conti house 17th and park (IMH).
• Castle 19th.
• Place Floor (SC).
• Cellar (IMH), 3 rue de la Chevalerie.
• Old castle with the hamlet of Amblaincourt.

Faithful to its engagement in favour of the environment and with its willing  to offer a framework of life increasingly more pleasant to the inhabitants, the municipality created in a few years a true green casting, which makes it possible to cross Chambly of north to the south. Close to 4km in the middle of nature!

This realization enters the creation project; a " avenue verte" between Paris and London, in partnership with the Association for the installation of the valley of the Esches

• The Mesnil Saint Martin

Starting point of the walk, an old brick bridge and a laundrette. Then a small peaceful and raised way which skirts the esches. On the banks, some fishermen, on the water, ducks.

• The way of the marshes

A little further, behind the football fields of the FC Chambly, the first of the three footbridges inaugurated in 2004 by the Town council of the Children. Under the trees, at the rhythm of the water which runs and in calm indescribable, each one will be able to appreciate the charms of nature.

Benches will be placed at the disposal of the walkers as of this year.

• The Chantemesse Park

The street of the Marsh, leads directly to the true green lung of the commune. Created in 1996, the Chantemesse Park constitutes a place of walk privileged, the favorite playing field of the young people, the appointment of the lovers.

• The Park of the Town hall

The walk of Esches led towards the quay of the Low Jump, the Place Charles DeGaulle and the Avenue Aristide Briand. Entirely worked again during the recasting of the downtown area, this part of the course which skirts l' Esches is flowered, raised and entirely protected.

• Avenue Aristide Briand

Remade to nine in 2004, bordered by the trees, the longest avenue of Chambly has from now on a true seal. Its broad pavements and cycle tracks allow a pretty walk of the downtown area until the entry of Persan!

• The Park Camille Desmoulins

The Park Camille Desmoulins just located beside the Notre-Dame church, will accomodate very soon plays for children.
