Tourism Rosières-aux-Salines
City Rosieres-aux-Salines is in in the Lorraine region, in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle.
It owes its name to the reeds lining the banks of the Meurthe but also to his former activities. Indeed, its origins date back to the twelfth century when there was at Rosiere, a saline (where the salt is recovered). In the eighteenth century, its profitability is no longer remarkable, this activity ceased, and the saline was closed.
Today, the site of the salt, we find a stud from the time of Louis XV, now National Stud.
