Tourism Méry-sur-Oise
Méry-sur-Oise is situated in the department of the Val-d'Oise and the region Île-de-France. Méry is one of the principal places of the culture of the mushroom in Île-de-France, thanks to the presence of several underground careers and to the relative proximity of the hippodrome of Chantilly, that supplies the cultures in manure. The castle of Méry-sur-Oise was edified by the Buffé, first lords of the famous places, from the years 1220 on a domain belonging previously to the abbey of Saint-Denis.
