Circuit rides and visit the villages of Eus in Arboussols

Behind the church of Eus, take the small path right to climb through the scrub, the oaks .. and you will arrive after some effort of a good 2 hours walking around the village of Arboussol, quiet village where there the silence of the valley of the Tet, magnificent views of the Canigou.

Possibility of walks and visits to the chapel of Ste Eulalie and visit the village with its priory Marcevol .. 3.5 km

Walk in Eus

Eus: between Valley and Mount Canigou Conflent capped with eternal snow, this beautiful little city was built for defensive purposes on a nipple once dominated by the castle of the Counts of Cerdagne

Designed for the defense, Eus rejected in 1598 the French and the Spanish army in 1793 which then dominated the Conflent. The Church of St. Vincent of the eighteenth century stands on the site of Roman camp that guarded the path from the Terrenera Cerdagne, and Our Lady of the Volta, former castle chapel built in the thirteenth century. At the entrance of Ens, the Romanesque chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of winegrowers and St Gaudérique. It opens onto a porch of the thirteenth century in pink marble from Villefranche de Confluent.
