The convents

The monastery was inaugurated with the presence of Charles the first of Bourbon and Sainte-Colette. In 1650, another house was created to welcome the Sainte-Ursule nuns. In 1790, the convent had 29 nuns and had several domains such as the Mange, the Recluse, the Nantillat and the Pre Bailly. The house will be bought by the town and is now a the City Hall.

The parish church Notre-Dame is a listed historical monument dating from 1016. It was finished in the 12th century.
