SALINE ROYALE

Only museum in Europe devoted to an architect, the museum strives to Claude Nicolas Ledoux's work creator of the Saline Royale. With sixty models is well traveled life of a designer who subsist only few buildings, or they were never built, or they have been destroyed by time and men.

Through this journey unfolds a multifaceted work (theaters, mansions, buildings...) which is also present projects dreamed accents sometimes utopian (ideal city of Chaux, cemetery, house of pleasure, schools, prisons , industrial buildings ...).
