La porte de l'Arsenal de Toulon

The realization of this gigantic architectural project is assigned to Bruno Negro de Sainte Croix, and the sculptor Jean Maucord . Built in 1738 , it now provides access to the National Maritime Museum. The door of the Arsenal is distinguished by impressive dimensions : 13,50m and 11,50m in height and a wide bay at 6m above the ground which extends 3m wide .
