Tourism La Mongie
La Mongie is a great resort for winter sports in the French Pyrenees. It is located in the Hautes-Pyrenees Midi-Pyrenees.It is part of the Tourmalet ski area, which is located on the common Campan, Bagneres de Bigorre and Barèges.Located at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, this set offers the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees on the French side, with 69 ski runs and 43 lifts.The area lies between 1 400 and 2 500 meters above sea level, on both sides of the Col du Tourmalet: Barèges occupies the western side, La Mongie is the slope.The connection between the two ski areas has been effective since 1973.
