Tourism Fourques
Located on the border of the department Gard and Bouches du Rhone, region Provence Côte d'Azur and Languedoc Roussillon.
The village name comes from the word "fork", referring to its location at the junction of the Grand Rhone and Petit Rhone giving rise to the delta of the Camargue.
It became Fourques, there are nearly 1000 years, a prosperous city, open, tolerant, cultured and festive.
It was towards the Rhone and the Mediterranean as the city looks today, convinced that its banks will find its soul.
The inhabitants practice a lifestyle friendliness, hospitality, a very specific finding that the sun is good but even better when shared.
