Departure | BARR (67) |
Details | The Barr and Bernstein Region is crossed by three rivers, the Andlau, the Kirneck and the Schernertz. In the past, not only they were providing water to the inhabitants as well as being used as a way of transporting goods but also they created many jobs. |
The Hohwald, a pretty green patch
Nestled in the heart of the forest, the Hohwald is much appreciated by nature lovers. Walkers enjoy the divers footpaths whereas city dwellers enjoy the fresh air.
Discover the richness of the area, the great variety of trees and the Andlau waterfall, especially in summer when light and music shows take place.
Before setting off, unwind one last time by the 'petite roue' and enjoy the peace and quiet of the place.
