Mines adventure asepam

For more than 35 years, the “Speleological Association for the Study and Protection of Ancient Mines” (ASEPAM) has worked for the preservation and enhancement of the mining, geological and mineralogical heritage of Val d’Argent.

This mining history is recounted in the permanent exhibition "Les Chemins de l'Argent" presented at L'Aventure des Mines, the association's premises.

Throughout the year, ASEPAM facilitators and volunteers offer visitors the opportunity to discover two silver mines: the Saint-Louis Eisenthür mine and the Gabe Gottes mine, two underground routes opened for exploitation in the 16th century. and preserved as the miners abandoned them.
