The beautiful beaches in Bidart

Beautiful and green cliffs loom over the beaches and give to Bidart a rural aspect among the big neighboring cities of Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Here there is more than 5 km of Basque Coast spread over six beaches, all of them are patrolled by life guards in summertime and there, one can enjoy swimming, surf casting, body surfing, bodyboarding and surfing and long boarding.

Discover the architectural heritage on the Saint James's Way. The paths of the village will lead you from the Sainte Madeleine Chapel to the Saint Joseph Chapel, via the one of Ur Onea and the church dating from the 16th century offering great views.

Discover an old mill dating from 1741 used as an traditional style flour making by old grinding stones working with a big water wheel.
Traditional bakery with Basques cream cakes or black cherry cakes, biscuits, breads. Open everyday and all year round except on the Tuesday the 15th of September to the 30 of June.
