Hendaye is the last French city before arriving to Spain. The town faces the Ocean and is surrounded by green hills that shelter and provide the city with a mild weather. It is from the road of the cornice that we reach Hendaye. one can see the large sandy beach which is the safest in Aquitaine region thanks to his shallowness.

The capital of Lowest Navarre, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is the most visited place in this region. The town was created in the 12th century in order to protect the access to the river and the access of the Roncevaux and Bentarte passes.
