Discover bidache

In the County of Bidache and its surroundings, you will discover different promenades and paths. For example, the pretty walk along River Bidouze or a cruise on the same river, or a trek in the Mixe Woodland.

It is located in the north of the village, on a high headland looming over the River Bidouze and is linked to the town of Bidache by a terrace dating from the 18th century. Near the end of the 17th century, the castle was looted during the revolution then set on fire in 1796. Since then, the castle of Bidache is now a ruin.

Came, located 3 km from Bidache, is a small village counting many chair makers. Thus a museum was created 'The Chair Museum'. It presents the art of chair making from 5 generation since 1800 until today.

The museum ends the visit in a chair workshop.
