Seignosse

The landscape here is typical of the wet lands:

Swamps with dense and lush vegetation with duckboard paths that will lead you to a chaotic forest with trunks, branches, ferns and carex all over the place.

Guided tours are organised  all year round, booking only and on July and August at 10.30 am, 3 pm and 5 pm from Monday to Friday.

Open everyday From Easter to the All Saints' day.

By foot or by bike, in the heart of the forest, 6 footpaths that links directly to villages are always available. 40 km of tracks and small roads to cycle or walk safely. Brochure are available at the Office of Tourism.

In addition, guided tours are organised from mid June to mid September once or more times per weeks depending on the time of the year.

There is also the possibility to discover the local wildlife together with a forest guide, to get involved in sap collecting, cork tree picking and the visit of a wood pigeon house. Information available at the Office of Tourism.

Seignosse also has an aquatic leisure park that has 2,800 m2 of pools all together with all sorts of toboggans, jacuzzis, bubble baths, etc.. for adults and children.

The park also has a massive leisure centre with a beach volley, petanque, basket ball badmington grounds, table tennis etc.. and also beaches, picnic areas and a bar and restaurant.
