Welcome to the country of the ainse vallay

The preserved landscapes allow the practice of the various activities as fishing, the ramble, on horse or in VTT.

The picturesque villages present the typical habitat of soissonnais, out of calcareous stone and with the pinions with cusps, also called " no the moineaux". They are decorated the remarkable churches, the castles and keeps, strengthened farms…

The territory is also marked by the memory of the Great War: military cemeteries, monuments, careers having sheltered the hairy ones, and preserving, having carved in the stone, the memory of their passage…

The castle was built from 1594 to 1636, the last modifications of the XVIII century giving him its aspect today:

A very beautiful surmounted frontage of a pediment, surrounded by 2 turns, opening on a perron which dominates a broad terrace giving access to the French garden. It is privatte for the receptions and the seminars.

The garden with the Frenchwoman and the English park were created at the request of the Abbot of Pomponne at the beginning of the XVIII century by an great architect of garden. The garden of the castle of Vic sur Aisne testifies of a great classicism by its symmetrical composition around an axis on the basis of the piano nobile jusqu' with the colonnade and by its yews cut into topiary.

With the XIXcentury: the park is arranged with English, for romantic walks, with statues, a colonnade, benches of stone, ruins… inviting to the daydream…

• Tow path

It offers a pleasant course crossing picturesque sites and landscapes, to practise with foot, bicycle and in the respect of the various users who  borrow it.

• Cycle tracks/green axis

The old way of railroad Compiegne - Soissons is refitted in green axis Allowing trotts it in the bicycle of Vic on Aisne with Soissons, via Ressons Length, Berny Rivière, Fontenoy, Pernant. Marked out the surfaces of spade screws and rest.

• Hiking

The pleasant pedestrian routes through the Valley of Aisne are accessible.
