Welcome in the créonnais

The hills of the Creonnais have numerous footpaths and tracks that makes this site a real haven for cyclists and ramblers.

The variety of landscapes, the windy roads are welcoming for those who cycle, walk or ride horses. With 200 km of marked footpath, this a great place to walk.

Enjoy the pleasant rides by horse or clim the trees in the Saint-Genes and Saint-Caprais parks.

Ride a quad around the vineyards or water ski on the Espiet lake.

Here you can walk trough the valleys, meadows, forest and vines, the tracks take you to the natural and beautifully preserved Valley de la Pimpine or through the vineyards of Entre-deux-Mers. Hiking maps of the Créonnais area are available at the Tourism Office.

Sadirac has a very ancient ceramic tradition. From the Antiquity time, this small town of Entre-deux-Mers was an important centre for ceramic production because of the clay fields located all around.

Pottery training courses are organised for children: the traditional art of Sadirac has no more secrets for the young public after a guided visit of the museum and a funny working experience.

In Sadirac, in summer time, you will discover the valley of Pimpine. The 18 kilometers long River Pimpine, and its valley, located between Créon and Latresne, will allow you to discover their natural treasures.

You will then travel all over the fascinating river landscapes with marshes, lakes, forests, limestone plateaus, spurts of underground waters, archeology, quarries, prehistoric shelters, gallo-roman water mills.

Playful experiences are organised on the aquatic and land wildlife: workshops on geology, water insects and birds will be organised as well.
