Château de Couches


Couches Castle is in Couches in the department of Saone-et-Loire region of Burgundy. This monument is also known as The Castle of Marguerite of Burgundy, and it is for a set of ancient fortresses that served as protection to the road from Paris to Chalon. Couches Castle owes its name to a second legend says that Margaret of Burgundy, who died according to the official history in a prison in 1315, had in fact been supported by her cousin Mary of layers that would have hosted in castle, and thus prolonged his life a few years, as legend has it would be died in 1333.
