Château de Couches
Couches Castle is in Couches in the department of Saone-et-Loire region of Burgundy. This monument is also known as The Castle of Marguerite of Burgundy, and it is for a set of ancient fortresses that served as protection to the road from Paris to Chalon. Couches Castle owes its name to a second legend says that Margaret of Burgundy, who died according to the official history in a prison in 1315, had in fact been supported by her cousin Mary of layers that would have hosted in castle, and thus prolonged his life a few years, as legend has it would be died in 1333.
Since the eleventh century, the castle has undergone various improvements and construction phases. Thus, it is possible to see features from different periods.
