Château de Banne
This ancient castrum was, in the 11th century, the property of the de Châteauneuf family, then of the Joyeuse family2.
Since the 15th century, it has been the property of the Beauvoir du Roure family and remained so until the Revolution.
It played an important role during the Camps de Jalès.
Destroyed by fire on 12 July 1792, it was sold by its owner to a merchant from Les Vans who used it as a quarry.
