Located in the east of Bretagne, Rennesis main city of Ile-et-Vilaine department and the capital of the Brittany Region. Rennes is famous for its student life and its night life. Rennes, religious and scholar city, offers buildings and monuments from the Gallo-Roman period until today, which gave to the city its status as regional capital.
