Ecomusée du Pays de Rennes

The Ecomuseum of Rennes traces five centuries of history of the Bintinais farm, one of the largest farms of the region, on the outskirts of the town. The permanent exhibition allows visitors to traverse the farm’s history to better understand the links which united the town and countryside. Reconstructed rooms, objects, machines and furniture demonstrate this.

Audiovisuals, interactive games and films allow the public of all ages to understand the lives of those who created this unique, and yet universal, history. Temporary exhibitions are organised around themes in collaboration with the heritage of the area of Rennes.
