It is crossed by the river Bévéra which has its source in the mountains of the Authion at 2075 meters above sea level, and flows into the Roya, 1 km upstream from Ventimiglia, Italy, after a bumpy ride in 38 km. The village has seen many pass the Car Rally of Monte Carlo, where reel is a step halfway Col de Turini and Sospel, each located 12 km.
