South Corsica is a French department located on the island of Corsica. It is located right beside the Haute-Corse department in the northwest, theMediterranean Sea in the west and the Tyrrhenian Sea in the southeast and Sardinia in the south. South Corsica has a Mediterranean climate, hot in summer and warm and rainy in winter. However, the one can still see snowy mountains until the end of March.
The main cities are: Ajaccio, Bonifacio, Sartene, Propriano, Figari, Pianotolli. Tourist’s sites in Corsica are various: Sea (beach, scuba diving, sailing), mountain (hiking, with the famous GR 20).
