It is when Felix de Dartein bought it, that a house and outbuildings were built around 1835. the higher part of the castle has a dungeon that is 18 m high and of a pentagonal shape, the main part of the castle, the seigniorial part of the castle is hexagonal, with round arches and keystones as well as a square tower that used to house a Chapel.
