| Details | Oraison city is in the department of the Alpes de Haute Provence, in the crossroads of Luberon, the Gorges of the Verdon and the Country of Giono. It is with semi-course between the snow-covered slopes of the Alps of the South and the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean, approximately 100 kilometers of the ones and others. Broadside by the Durance, lAdze and the torrent of Rancure, the city raises at 376 meters high and is at the foot of the hill of Tholonet. Enjoying a Mediterranean climate with 2750 hours of sun per annum is approximately 300 days, the Oraison city is a privileged place of relaxation in a preserved natural framework of 2300 hectares of forest white oaks and holm oaks, where its name " A city in the countryside". |
Discover the beautiful landscapes in Oraison
Surrounded by 2300 hectares of the white oaks and holm oak, Oraison city is a privileged place of relaxation. You will be able to traverse our forests, to discover our landscapes with foot, in the racing cycle, V.T.T or on horse.
Leave from the place of the Kiosk of the centre town. To move to the top of the village until the tank by the streets Elie Louis Julien, Auguste Brun then Pink Banon. To borrow at the beginning the yellow layout; to follow the peaks of Tholonet. Point of view on the two valleys: The Durance and Rancure. To exceed the ruins of an old castle where only part of turn remains. To continue the way which curves in underwood until an intersection.
- To give up the yellow layout going towards Castellet (circuit n°25 ADRI). To take on your line a broad way suitable for motor vehicles marked out in green which goes down; it approaches the slope valley of Rancure and walks on soft inclined with blank of hill until the secondary road n°12.
- To take on the right in direction of Otaison; to skirt the CD12 during approximately 15mn; 90 meters before the stone parapet which borders the road: to approach the bed of the torrent, to enter the botanical zone of discovery.
- To go up on the CD12; little before the Bridge Pierre, to continue 900 more meters by borrowing the street of Charles Richebois to reach the centre town.

The lake of Buissonnades
The lake of Buissonnades is located at the south of the Oraison city (at 5 km in direction of Valensole, on the right before the bridge of Adze).
Lake of bathe (the bathe is supervised in summer by qualified personnel). Lake of fishing arranged with tables of spade screws.
Botanical course around the water foreground (1,650 km).
Departure at the bottom of the carpark after the rocks on the level of the table of picnic (blue beaconing). The access and the carpark is free. In summer snack bar, restoring bar.
