Château de Simiane-la-Rotonde

Ownership Simiane Agoult, the presence of a castle here is attested from 1031.

The chapel, built over a crypt house the tomb of Raimbaud d'Agoult, who participated in the First Crusade and died in 1113.

Following the period of intense activity or partial withdrawals, the castles known significant revisions. Recent work focuses on the sealing time and equipment (1979-1980).

It is part of historic buildings by order of 18 March 1998.
