Château de Bonrepos
Bonrepos Castle is located in France on the town of Bonrepos-Riquet, in the Haute-Garonne department and in the Midi-Pyrenees region.
It was built by Pierre-Paul Riquet. Attracted by the site, Pierre-Paul Riquet, who chooses to study in Bonrepos and to work on the Royal canal de Languedoc project, decided in 1651 to settle there. The city center is consisted of a castle, a town hall and a church, perched on a hill.
Its overlooking the valleys of Conné and Girou. It have a dominant position and a clear view. You can see the chain of the Pyrenées.
