Built on a low point that advances itself at the far end of the Saint-Florent gulf, the one of the most beautiful ones of the Mediterranean, the former city, crowned by its citadel, is today a big seaside station.
As all the seaside stations of Corse, Saint Florent lives essentially from tourism in summer season. Its proximity of the town bastia allows it to have a certain activity out season.
