Tourism Montpellier
Montpellier, the city department of Herault in Languedoc-Roussillon region, is well worth a visit. This is a beautiful city with homogeneous architecture has many shops, cafes and beautiful places. It is important to note that the place is almost entirely pedestrian.
In the city center is the Place de la Comedie, very large marble paved piazza where visitors can admire a beautiful large fountain in the center and cafes on each side. The opera closes one side of the square and the other side opens onto a large square, which ends where the concert hall of the Corum.
The museum's most famous city, the Musée Fabre, has a large collection of paintings by French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Flemish and English from the 17th to the 19th century and includes names such as Delacroix, Raphael, and Jan van Steen Veronese.
This ancient city is relaxing with its small medieval streets, its many markets rife mediterranean scents and beautiful zoo. All around the city is building that one described as "madness", built by aristocrats. These are beautiful buildings that still offer space walks.
